This is how I feel about today's reconstructions on prehistoric animals.

Ugh where's all the feathers and soft tissue. Your stuff is so conservative.
Great job, but some very well preserved crocodile skulls seem to sport some kind of pits or small holes in the snout which probably indicates that they had some sort of sensorial whiskers, leading to the possibilty that that animal was at least partially covered in filamentous integument.
